Hi. Excited to have discovered QPrompt.
Is there any way possible to have Mouse click (left, middle, right) to Start/Pause?
When using, I find it easier to just old my wireless mouse in my hand to control, and looks less obvious for I’m trying to record a presentation.
I tried changing it in Keyboard inputs, but doesn’t work.
That’s a good idea but I have to see if there’s a way that it can be done… Currently, if you double click on text while prompting, you’ll enter a mode to edit text as you prompt. If a single click triggers a pause that would also cause the text to pause or stutter after a double click, which would be unacceptable. I’d have to make sure the pause does not take place before a double click can complete, which would result in a delayed pause…
I’ll have to look into this with more time later. Please file a feature request over at our issue tracker: https://feedback.qprompt.app
And to answer your question: No, the only way to make QPrompt pause when you click on the prompter while prompting would be to modify the source code to do that and re-building the app after.
Middle click would conflict with a feature that we’ve added for v2.1 that let’s you control the speed by simply moving the mouse up or down. The middle click toggles the feature on and off.
Right click is still available but that’s not as intuitive. We should be able to make it work with the left click.
