kaixxx developed an Arduino controlled footswitch you can build yourself, using off the shelf parts, to start and stop Imaginary Teleprompter with a foot switch pedal.
Teleprompter Footswitch runs with Imaginary Teleprompter on Windows only, but I plan to add Linux support, and support for QPrompt as well. kaixxx and I are open to contributions. Let me know here if you’d be interested in adding macOS support yourself!
